This August, while travelling across Germany, we decided to visit a famous tourist attraction — Kasseler Wasserspiele. The English wiki page only has a small section describing the event, but you can check out this Tom Scott video to get the idea of what we got ourselves into. The Water Games were performed only twice a week in summer, so we thought to ourselves that if we were ever going to see them — it was our chance. Coincidentally, it was the first really hot day of August and I got sunburned. We also decided not to board the bus that took tourists to the top because the bus stop was very crowded. So we've made the whole way up the hill on foot, which was tough... Even tougher was to climb the huge set of stairs to the Hercules pedestal to take the overview photo of Kassel... But, in the end, we survived the trip!
